Meditation - Yoga Nidra
Meditation is tough, even for some Yogis.
Yoga Nidra is a practice of non-doing, to pause the mind and the body.
A guided meditation technique like Yoga Nidra is accessible to most people, and is designed to use breath, body and awareness to disengage from the thinking mind and move you towards the slowest brain activity where you can change your relationship to pain, stressful situations, habits and enter a deep relaxation stage.
It is here that all the magic of restoration happens, and the more we practice, our brains come out of the constant fight / flight response mode and into a peaceful state of calm awareness, a space from where we act rather than react.
Who can do it? Most people - kids, teenagers, adults to seniors find benefits listed below
How? This is done laying down in a comfortable sleep position using as many props as needed.
What do you have to do? Nothing. Just lay down and follow my guidance
